Our wide range offers the perfect solution for every application, from a compact extinguisher of only approx. 20 g with an extinguishing potential of 200 liters, to a large generator that can protect rooms with a volume of up to approx. 80 m3.

All generators can be combined into systems with different devices to protect objects of any size. When it comes to system planning, we rely on proven fire protection products and certified systems.

Our extinguishing centers can be connected to existing fire alarm panels or integrated into larger security concepts. In contrast to gas systems, our aerosol technology places only minimal requirements on the objects to be protected, they do not have to be gas-tight, it is not necessary to create separate storage spaces or to lay pipes with great effort. Aerosol generators are extremely easy to install and only require wiring. This helps to keep installation costs low and makes the systems low-maintenance.

Pressure generating generators

Specialized aerosol fire protection systems with powder or water

In addition to the pressureless aerosol generators, we offer two types of pressure-building aerosol fire protection systems: powder and water modules. The powder units contain ABC powder. The water unites liquids with potassium salts. In both units, which contain powder or water, there is an aerosol generator. When the generator is activated, pressure builds to spray water mist or powder onto the desired firefighting area.

Our pressure-generating aerosol fire protection systems are suitable for open spaces (eg gas stations or oil platforms). The water or powder aerosol acts as a blanket to prevent the fire from flaring up again.

Our pressure building systems are available in a range of different sizes. Our smallest unit provides an extinguishing capacity of 300 grams to 100 kg for our largest pressure generating unit. Different units can be combined in existing or new fire protection systems to provide endless extinguishing performance.

Our ABC extinguishing powder intervenes directly in the combustion process by interrupting the radical reaction chains that arise in the flame. This happens by means of a so-called wall reaction on the surface of the very fine powder particles (also known as an inhibitory or anticatalytic effect). This makes quick extinguishing possible.

When burning with coal or embers, ABC powders also cause a chemical disturbance during the charring process. This quickly creates an insulation layer that prevents oxygen from coming into contact with the fire material.

How does aerosol work as extinguishing agent?

The fire is recognized by means of a fire detector, electrical ignition or fully autonomous analog ignition. Our Aerosol generator generates the aerosol and an endothermic reaction converts potassium hydrogen carbonate into potassium carbonate, chemically removing oxidizing substances from the combustion process and extinguishing the fire. At the same time, additional heat is extracted from the combustion process. This way the fire is extinguished in two ways and the chance of re-ignition is considerably reduced. During the extinguishing process, no oxygen is extracted and the residual potassium carbonate product is environmentally friendly and easy to clean up.
